Embark on a unique sensory journey through the cheese-making tradition of Zamora with the experience "Laurus: From Origin to Aging Cellar." This activity will take you to discover the secrets of an artisanal cheese factory that, backed by the Denomination of Origin "queso zamorano," keeps the local cheese-making heritage alive thanks to a farming family committed to tradition.
We will take a tour of the winemaking and ageing facilities of the urban winery, taking a closer look at the particularities of artisan work, ageing in clay amphorae, foudres or barrels. We will also see how we carry out the manual work of labelling and sealing bottles, which is typical of small production wines. We will finish with a tasting of four wines accompanied by an aperitif of Riojan pork loin and our own organic olive oil with bread from a wood-fired oven.
