Dominio de Sexmil was created to produce great wines with long aging potential; it has 5 hectares of the "tinta del país" grape variety, ranging from 100 to 150 years old.
Red wines are produced and aged in French oak barrels of 225 and 400 liters for approximately 15, 19, and 23 months.
Brochero Monteconcejo estate features the "tinta del país" variety, which is over 70 years old and aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.
Dominio de Sexmil features the "tinta del país" variety, which is over 100 years old and aged for 23 months in new fine-grain French oak barrels.
