From Almazara Deortegas we offer activities to learn in depth about extra virgin olive oils, their production, their characteristics, their properties and, of course, their countless benefits. Located in the Pinillos area, surrounded by its own olive tree, at Almazara Deortegas we have a tasting room with amazing views of olive trees and the mountains that surround us. From this exceptional enclave we carry out an enriching olive tourism experience.

Enjoy an educational day at Almazara Deortegas visiting our facilities located in an exceptional environment, where you will learn about the production processes of our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils, you will discover the origins of the oil, you will learn to discover the characteristics of EVOO in a visual, olfactory and gustatory way; to differentiate the attributes: its fruitiness, bitterness and spiciness; and to discover the different notes and nuances that appear on the palate when these exquisite oils are tasted.

The place is the Pazo de Fefiñáns, and the history dates back to the 16th century when Juan Sarmiento de Valladares, a trusted advisor to Philip II, began the construction of the architectural complex.
