A journey through heritage among churches and wineries

The Araus Ballesteros Winery in Villahoz offers a rich experience combining history, tradition, and oenology.

The day begins with a warm welcome at an iconic winery, where you will enjoy a glass of wine while admiring panoramic views of the town.

You will learn about the different grape varieties, vineyard care, and the winemaking process — from fermentation to aging in barrels.

The experience includes a guided wine tasting paired with local products, such as cheeses and homemade cured meats, offering an authentic connection to the region's flavors.

Afterwards, we will take a tour through the historic streets of Villahoz, declared a Historic Site. The visit includes its 16th-century church and the traditional underground wine cellars, places rich in history and culture.
