This is the ideal visit for history and wine lovers. During the tour we will learn about the more than 150 years of history of our winery, with plenty of anecdotes to share and also soak up wine culture, always enjoying the beauty and quiet of the historic buildings of the winery. In autumn, the changing colours of the leaves of our centenary trees and the vines in our garden make a visit unforgettable.

The visit begins with an introduction to the History of the Barrio de la Estación in our 1859 façade, followed by a tour of the historical part of our winery, where we will visit the French Cellar (1859) and the Cellars (more than 3400m2), continuing the tour through La Central (1901 cellar), our Barrel Rooms and the Santiago Ugarte Icon Cellar, where we make the most exclusive wines of the house.

Finally, we will have a tasting of wines that represent very well the times of this winery.

Urban Cellar

We will take a tour of the winemaking and ageing facilities of the urban winery, taking a closer look at the particularities of artisan work, ageing in clay amphorae, foudres or barrels. We will also see how we carry out the manual work of labelling and sealing bottles, which is typical of small production wines. We will finish with a tasting of four wines accompanied by an aperitif of Riojan pork loin and our own organic olive oil with bread from a wood-fired oven. An emotional visit to enjoy the culture of wine, with the charm of the small and artisanal.
