 To visit La Bodega Medieval is to enter the medieval period (around the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries), which has been carefully recovered to offer visitors an experience for all their senses that leaves no one indifferent.
 
 This visit is a unique opportunity to delve into the science of vine cultivation, and the ancient art of producing wine. We encourage you to immerse yourself in the local history and culture while learning about how our ancestors lived and how their legacy influences our way of life today. 

  • Guided walk through the Historic-Artistic Site of San Martín del Castañar, with the expert company of an official guide.
  • Guided walk along "The Route of the Forest of Mirrors".
  • Lunch at a restaurant that is a member of the Sierra de Francia Wine Route.

The place is the Pazo de Fefiñáns, and the history dates back to the 16th century when Juan Sarmiento de Valladares, a trusted advisor to Philip II, began the construction of the architectural complex.
