The “Comic between wines” experience invites you to discover the link between wine and comics since its conception, since the word vignette has its origin in the French word “vignette”, the name by which the ornaments in the form of vine leaves, shoots or bunches of grapes with which the images in the books were decorated were known. Over time, each of the boxes that made up a comic came to be called vignettes.
The experience includes a tour through the history of wine with the common thread of comics and illustration. We will visit three of the wine-related museums in El Provencio. Starting with the ethnographic museum, where we will discover the traditional process of wine. Next, we will visit the Comic Museum with a tour of wine through the ninth art, and ending at the Bodega del Doctor Plaza, an old family winery where we will see in situ what the wineries were like in the traditional wine process and we will do a commented tasting of two wines from Bodegas Campos Reales paired with Manchego cheeses and chocolate, where we will learn to feel the different nuances of the pairing. After the experience, a personalized bottle of wine will be delivered that will leave an indelible memory of the experience
